you can view the joint Keynote Sessions of Graphite 2004 and VRCAI
2004 where you are.
The software and instructions
for installing and using the AG (Access Grid) Venue Client,
are available at http://www.accessgrid.org/.
The transmissions will begin at 09:00 Singapore time (or 01:00
GMT), everyday from Wednesday 16 June to Friday 18 June.
The program is as follows:

"The Vision of Ambience Intelligence and How to Make it Happen"
"Augmented Cognition and Augmented Art: The Evolution of Traditional VR"
Information on the grid and how to gain access
1) We are hosting the event from APAG (Asia Pacific Access Grid) Server, Australia.
2) Singapore is connecting to APAG through unicast. Some other countries have a multicast connection with Australia. They can leverage on the advantages of multicast. Users from Singapore can view the event only by using unicast.
3) You will need to have the Access Grid Toolkit installed.
Steps to follow for viewers from Singapore and also for those who don't have a multicast connection to Australia
1) Open command prompt. Go inside the bin directory where you have installed the AG Toolkit. For windows the default directory will be C:\Program Files\Access Grid Toolkit\bin>. If you have installed it look for that directory.
2) Type these commands on the command prompt:
a) vic venues.vislab.usyd.edu.au/18200
b) rat venues.vislab.usyd.edu.au/18220
3) This will start the AG venue client and now you will be able to watch the audio as well as video of the keynote speeches.
4) Please note the timings of the speeches as given above.
For users who have a Multicast Connection to Australia
1) Start the AG 2 Client.
2) Type the following address in the venue client address space: https://vv2.ap-accessgrid.org:8000/Venues/default. Click the go button.
3) Now you have reached the APAG main lobby. On the left side you will be able to see Institutions Lobby. Click on that.
4) When you are inside the Institutions Lobby, you will be able to see the room GRAPHITE. Click on that. Now you will be able to see the audio and video of the keynote speeches.
